How many people can the house accommodate?
The house can accommodate up to 5 people: 4 in the 2 double beds (in the main room and the second room on the lower floor) and one in the sofa bed in the living room.
Is it possible to accommodate babies?
Unfortunately, the house is not equipped to accommodate newborns. In addition, the staircases at the entrance and inside make it difficult for pushchairs to access.
How can we access the house?
You can access the house through an external staircase from the village's center. If you arrive with heavy luggage, I recommend having it carried by the paid porter service. Write to me if you want to use it.
How can we get to Riomaggiore?
The most convenient way to reach Riomaggiore is by train: the routes connecting Genoa and La Spezia are very frequent and the station is only 5 minutes from the house. A valid alternative is a car, but I recommend booking your parking in advance. You can also reach the town by ferry from La Spezia or the other towns of the Cinque Terre. The nearest airports to Riomaggiore are Pisa (63 miles) and Genoa (79 miles).
Where can we park the car?
There are two options to park your car in Riomaggiore: you can leave your car in the municipal parking or a private space. Both solutions are paid and by reservation. Contact me to reserve your place. Remember that, in any case, you will have to leave your car at the village entrance and walk to the house in 10 minutes. The town centre is completely pedestrian.
Is there air conditioning in the house?
There isn't an air conditioner, but the house remains very cool in summer. It is built in the rock above the sea, which makes it particularly cool. If you need it, inside you will find 2 fans.
Do you provide breakfast or other meals?
I do not have permission to provide meals or breakfast inside the house. However, I can recommend places to eat a great Italian breakfast and enjoy the local cuisine!
Do we have to pay the tourist tax?
Yes, upon arrival, I will ask you to pay the tourist tax of 2 euros per person. The tax is valid only for the first 3 days of stay (after you won't pay) and only over 10 guests have to pay it. Since I am a private host, I do not have a card reader, so I would ask you to get some cash before arrival.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
